Programs in White Rock

We host many of our programs at White Rock Branch Library.

Program Series

Music + Movement

Library staff share songs and props in this high-energy program designed for ages 0-6 and their caregivers. M&M promotes brain and body development with an emphasis on language acquisition and literacy readiness. At the main library, M&M is offered three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:30 am, prior to the library opening at 10:00 am.

Storytime

Library storytime is a time-honored tradition in public libraries. Storytime is offered at both the main and the branch library weekly. Books and activities are typically most appropriate for kids ages 3-6 years. Library staff are trained to adjust and flex in the moment providing a positive environment for most children and their involved caregivers. Storytime happens once weekly in White Rock, on Wednesdays at 10:15am. There are also two weekly Storytimes at Mesa Public Library, on Thursdays at 10:30am and Saturdays at 10:15am.
