Library programs may be developed and presented by staff or by paid presenters working with the library. In making decisions about programs, topics, speakers, and presenters the library considers:
- Alignment with strategic plans and goals
- Community needs and interests
- Budget and cost
- Presenter background/qualifications
- Staff time required
- Potential to promote and encourage use of library collections and resources.
Library sponsored programs and events are open to the public and are free of charge.
