CanceledSunday Crafternoon: Box Chain Bracelet & Abandoned Crafts

Sun.-Crafternoon.jpg

This event is for adults and older (14+) teens.  While all experience levels are welcome, crafters new to jewelry making should plan to be on time and ready to focus.

Through July, we're learning to make a chainmail bracelet or keychain with crafter and artisan Rose Sartor. The library has a limited number of kits and pliers, so we're requesting registration if you plan to learn to make chainmail. It's free, like all library programs. Chainmail jewelry making takes focus and time to learn, so if you register, plan to come for the length of the program from 1:30-4 pm.

No registration is needed if you would like to hang out and craft your own thing. Bring the craft you've abandoned and are ready to engage with again. Don't know what to do?  Library staff will provide a simple alternative craft with teen and adult appeal. Drop in anytime between 1:30 and 4 pm if you're working on your own thing or doing the alternative craft.

Sunday Crafternoon alternates between the main and the branch library. Check the calendar listing carefully to see where to show up.
